Ephesus and House of Virgin Mary
We leave early in the day from the hotel in a private vehicle and head to the airport where we catch the flight Istanbul – Denizli. Visit to Pamukkale, which means, “cotton castle”. Contemplate the remains of the ruins of Hierapolis and its Necropolis, and then eat in a typical restaurant in the Aegean.
Visit the house of the Virgin Mary. It is said that St. John brought the Virgin Mary to Ephesus after the death of Christ, and he spent his last days in a house. The house, now popular place of pilgrimage for Christians and Muslims received official approval from the Vatican. Pope Paul VI visited the site in 1967 and confirmed its authenticity.

That afternoon we drive to Izmir airport for departure to Istanbul. Upon arrival we transfer to the hotel.
