Hagia Sophia and Cruise

Hippodrome Romano, Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque,

PROGRAM
Departure from the hotel to the Roman Hippodrome where we will see: The Obelisk of Theodosius, the Serpentine Column, the German Fountain, the Column of Constantine.

Next we will visit the Basilica of Saint Sophia, a Byzantine church from the 6th century, built by Justinian the Great and now converted into a museum with the most beautiful examples of Byzantine mosaics; the Blue Mosque, one of the most beautiful imperial mosques with a rich decoration of frescoes and tiles from which its name derives; and the Byzantine Cistern of Yerebatán, place where the water was stored to supply the needs of the Imperial Palace.

Lunch in a typical Bosphorus restaurant, and in the afternoon cruise through the Bosphorus, the strait that separates Europe from Asia where we can enjoy the great beauty of the forests of Istanbul, its palaces and the Yali, wooden palaces built in both shores
